At Wlozaringhodexar, we are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of every participant who attends our candle-making workshops. We understand that plans can change, and we have developed this Return Policy to provide clear guidance on cancellations, rescheduling, and refund processes. This policy applies to all workshop bookings made through our website, email, phone, or in person at our studio located at 26 Crummer Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021, New Zealand.
We encourage all participants to read this policy carefully before making a booking. By completing a workshop reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Return Policy.
2. Cancellation by Participant
2.1 Cancellation More Than 7 Days Before Workshop
If you need to cancel your workshop booking more than 7 calendar days before the scheduled date, you are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid. We will process the refund to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation request. Please note that any bank processing times are outside our control and may add additional days to the refund timeline.
2.2 Cancellation Between 3 and 7 Days Before Workshop
Cancellations made between 3 and 7 calendar days before the scheduled workshop date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount. Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule your booking to another available date at no additional charge. This option is subject to availability and must be arranged directly with our team.
2.3 Cancellation Less Than 3 Days Before Workshop
Cancellations made less than 3 calendar days (72 hours) before the scheduled workshop date are not eligible for a refund. This is because materials and supplies are prepared in advance specifically for each confirmed participant. However, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional cost, provided you notify us before the workshop start time.
3. Rescheduling
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we are happy to accommodate rescheduling requests whenever possible. The following conditions apply to rescheduling:
- Rescheduling requests made more than 3 days before the workshop date will be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability
- Rescheduling requests made less than 3 days before the workshop date may incur a rescheduling fee of NZ$20 to cover material preparation costs
- Each booking may be rescheduled a maximum of two times. After the second rescheduling, the standard cancellation policy will apply
- Rescheduled workshops must be completed within 6 months of the original booking date
4. Cancellation by Wlozaringhodexar
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen events such as severe weather conditions, instructor unavailability, or insufficient participant numbers. In such cases:
- We will notify you as early as possible via the contact information provided at the time of booking
- You will be offered the choice of a full refund or rescheduling to an alternative date
- If rescheduling is chosen, we will prioritise your booking for the next available session
- We are not liable for any incidental costs incurred by participants due to workshop cancellations, such as travel or accommodation expenses
5. No-Shows
If you fail to attend a scheduled workshop without prior notification, this will be treated as a cancellation made less than 3 days before the workshop date. No refund will be issued for no-shows. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend so that we can explore available options for you.
6. Gift Vouchers
Workshop gift vouchers purchased through our website or in our studio are non-refundable but are transferable. Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of the date of purchase. Expired gift vouchers cannot be refunded or extended. The recipient of a gift voucher is subject to the same cancellation and rescheduling terms outlined in this policy.
7. Workshop Materials and Take-Home Items
All materials used during our workshops are included in the price of the session. Participants take home the candles they create during the workshop. Due to the nature of handmade products, we cannot accept returns on finished candles created during workshops. If you experience any issue with materials provided during a session, please contact us and we will work to find a suitable resolution.
8. Dissatisfaction with Workshop Experience
Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you are not satisfied with your workshop experience, we encourage you to speak with our team during or immediately after the session so that we can address any concerns. If you wish to make a formal complaint, please contact us within 7 days of the workshop date. We will review your feedback and may offer a partial refund, a complimentary follow-up session, or another appropriate remedy at our discretion.
9. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

Please include your full name, booking date, and the reason for your request. We will respond to all requests within 2 business days.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account. Bank processing times may vary. If you have not received your refund within this timeframe, please contact your bank or financial institution first, then reach out to us if the issue persists.
11. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, make exceptions to this Return Policy in extraordinary circumstances. Such exceptions will be handled on a case-by-case basis and do not set a precedent for future requests. Any exception granted will be communicated to you in writing.
12. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking. We encourage you to review this policy each time you make a new booking.
